Hannah is a senior at Tarleton State University, working towards her Bachelors of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences with her emphasis being agriculture communications with a minor in communications. Hannah currently serves as the National Agriculture Communicators of Tomorrow Editor, vice president of the Agriculture Communicators of Tomorrow Tarleton chapter, president of Sigma Alpha Professional Agriculture Sorority on the Tarleton campus, and serves in numerous other leadership and service positions.
Hannah has a passion for agriculture, after spending two years pursing a degree in geology she knew her heart wasn’t in it and chose to transfer universities and begin studying agriculture communications. Hannah has constantly proven that her passion feeds her desire to educate herself and others about the importance of agriculture. Hannah was selected as a social media intern for Agriculture Media Summit in 2012 when she traveled with McDonald Marketing Communications. Hannah was also chosen to attend the AgChat Foundation Conference and was able to represent McDonald Marketing Communications while in attendance. Hannah has a continual passion for learning new things and takes the initiative to grab onto opportunities to learn new ways to share the story of agriculture.
